Brief Summary of AHM

Action Hope Malawi is a registered non-profit making local organization with the Malawi Government through the office of Registrar General Certificate number MBRS1003750. The organization was established in response to community problems which include high levels of child malnutrition and mortality, increased HIV/AIDS-related deaths in the communities, lack of access to clean water and hygiene practices, lack of SRH capacity among the youths, lack of access to early childhood development services and poor delivery of primary education services and standards among others. The organization is also registered with the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations in Malawi (CONGOMA) with registration number C943/2015 and also registered with NGO Board registration number NGO/L/16/092. The organization is situated at Thondwe Trading Center behind the Thondwe Post office opposite Assemblies of God Church in the Zomba district of Malawi.

Action Hope Malawi accomplishes its goals and objectives by working tirelessly with the community members such as Centre management committees, caregivers, mentors, and local leaders at the CBCCs level, women groups, orphans, and other vulnerable children, the youth, and other government and non –government institutions. Our targets are primarily the children, women, and youth, regardless of HIV AIDS status, race, and gender, ethnic grouping, and political affiliations.

AHM will endeavor to create solutions to poverty, health, HIV AND AIDS, social justice, food insecurity, inequality, and environmental degradation in Malawi, with the active participation of the communities.
